Purina Check-R-Board Days at Alvin
Purina Check-R-Board Days at Alvin: Steinhauser’s Alvin location will host Purina Check-R-Board Days on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021. We will be giving a free chick away with the purchase of a 5lb bag of start and grow or start and grow non-medicated chicken feed. Lunch served by Mama Bears Hot Diggity Dog food truck will be available for purchase.
Events include:
- Dog Adoptions from 10 am to 2 pm
- Costume Contest: sign in at 12 pm Judging at 1 pm
- Purina Specialist Aaron Novasad, Flocktober speaker, at 2

- Rescue Rangers – Pet adoption services.
- Alvin Animal Shelter – The Alvin Animal Adoption Center is a division of the Alvin Police Department dedicated to helping the pets of Alvin!
- Rainbow of Hope Equine Therapy – Rainbow of Hope Texas is a 32-acre farm and ranch community serving youth with developmental disabilities, who are on the threshold of the most critical transition of their lives to date: the transition to adulthood.
